Lord Tunderin" Jesus She said to come grab a chair And pull it up to the fire You’re cold and lonely Like you’ve never gone this far before When I was a child I was Never one for tradition But if superstition brings you comfort Well then who am I to throw stones There’s no hockey night tonight No one stompin’ on the floor Nobody’s heading out west Haulin’ Margo’s Cargo Reggies got the rig Luke’s guitar is gone The east coast is like Sudbury Lost without a song Well I don’t know if there’s a Heaven or a Hell And I can’t tell you what it was I did yesterday With secrets unlocked and knots un-tied There’s no way we’ll make it To Edmonton tonight There’s no hockey night tonight No one stompin’ on the floor Nobody’s heading out west Haulin’ Margo’s Cargo Reggies got the rig Luke’s guitar is gone The east coast is like Sudbury Lost without a song There’s no hockey night tonight No one stompin’ on the floor Nobody’s heading out west Haulin’ Margo’s Cargo Reggies got the rig Luke’s guitar is gone The east coast is sorrowful For it’s forgotten son Copyright 2014 Broomsticks & Hammers

Montreal Blue When you came back You weren’t alone Hard times had fallen Dragged down by the stone The kids are hungry The baby is cryin’ The streets are empty But we’re still survivin’ Will there be work tomorrow? I don’t know Better times are coming So I been told I don’t know what it is That keeps me hanging on But I know Its got something to do with you When you’re brought up On broomsticks & hammers Baptized in the toilets With the sinners and the scammers Who’ve left me up here Just to hang These are the things that I cannot change I don’t know what it is That keeps me hanging on But I know Its got something to do with you So I’ll Just stay I won’t unpack Cause when I run away They just bring me back I won’t go to church I pray in the tenement I don’t believe in justice I just believe in punishment I don’t know what it is That keeps me hanging on But I know Its got something to do with you Copyright Broomsticks & Hammers 2012

Passing Cars 02:22
Passing Cars Was a child in the summer time An old man in the fall I was quite in the winter time Cause I was dead to the world And when the spring time comes around You know I’ll make her my girl We`ll dance under the stars Twinkling from the headlights of the Passing Cars x2 I had been wounded and torn Consumed in the flames With the promise to be reborn I was lifted by the ones Who really are the ones I was lifted by the ones who really are the ones We`ll dance under the stars Twinkling from the headlights of the Passing Cars x2

Gina 03:24
Gina Gina says to me If you can’t be Perfect then you might as well be interesting. Gina says to me Over my coffee I like the name of your band, why don’t you write a song about me? She’s the Queen of Coffee x 3 Gina says to me She always starts off on The wrong foot But when she gets the time maybe she’ll come callin’ She’s the Queen of Coffee x 3 Nothing that I say To Gina makes her smile Gina says to me don’t tell me fantasies while I am torn apart Pinned and slashed Stitched back together Just like he’d always intended She’s the Queen of Coffee x 3 Gina says to me If you can’t be Perfect then you might as well Pretend Copyright Broomsticks & Hammers 2014

The Final Moments of Christopher McCandless These legs these legs they have betrayed me Under this sky Under these stars The call into the wild night Has my heart racing all this time I can`t tell you how many wrong turns Have led me here to the moment of last breath All alone on a bus to Fairbanks I am skin and bones Frail and human A lone wolf listenin` to the forest Howlin to the moon Singin to the gods I`ll be coming home soon On a bus to Fairbanks I fall asleep Howlin`to the cries Of the final beat of the beast Weep nothing for me It is meant to be The wrong turns and right turns I guess we`ll never know The last moments lost Under her pail moon glow Copyright Broomsticks & Hammers 2014

Cowboys & Indians We played a game in Ohio Winner take all, leave nothing to show. I had a girl, she had a plan for me. Stole the buckeye from my pocket and called me a theif. By the 4th of July I was all alone No cavalry came, no ticket home. She left for big sky country. Filled my pockets with buckeyes all-y-all come free. So long now I'll wave good-bye. The good guys will win this time and the others, they'll just try. Let's play cowboys & Indians. I'll be one you can be millions. Givin' a La-Z-Boy one last stand And just like George I'll be a gentleman Always taking my medicine. Now there's too many holes on this horse. Back in my home town the River Raisin's feared When it swells in the season for hard court tears. The river runs strong, the river runs free But it can't it wash away bitter rivalries. I think about George, the prodigal son. Some battles are lost and others are won. Now he rides so high all dressed in green. Here's to Michigan boys with sad stories Who restore themselves to former glory. Let's play cowboys & Indians. I'll be one you can be millions. Givin' a La-Z-Boy one last stand And just like George I'll be a gentleman Always taking my medicine. Now there's too many holes on this horse.

Fairbanks 05:40
Fairbanks When you take the boat out tonight Will you think of me on the other side When the clear lake frowns and the clouds they cry I'll shine a light to be your guide When crystal waters calm down and the moon it shines You can hear my voice through the whispering pines But don't you weep for the lonesome loon That fellow knows nothing of any other tune Stay where you're at, I'll come where you're to Only when it's the right time for me and you And not a moment for too soon We'll get together under Fairbank's moon Watch for shooting stars tonight I'll sign my name in those starry lines And if you miss me in broad daylight I'll show you dragon-flies When the boat slips below the water line That's OK boys, it's by my design Dry it out & get ready for the show Cause I got a song for the radio When crimson skies fall for midnight blue The grace amoung us, oh what love can do And not a moment for too soon Will we get together under Fairbank's moon Watch for shooting stars tonight I'll sign my name in those starry lines And if you miss me in broad daylight I'll show you dragon-flies We'll sit around this fire side Watch those embers float up to the sky And all around these nickel mines I'll show you signs That I'm coming home Home coming, coming home
